GLENFORD: Jerry Ray Hinkle 65, of Glenford, passed away February 22, 2012 at the Pickering House in Lancaster.
He was born October14, 1946 in Zanesville the son of the late Willard "Woody" and Anise (Wilson) Hinkle. Jerry was a barber and hair stylist for 45 years. He was a United States Army / Vietnam War Veteran. He was a member of the Somerset American Legion Post 58, Corning American Legion Honor Guard and the Glenford Lion's Club
He is survived by his wife Patricia A. Bartley Hinkle; son Jason E. Hinkle; daughters Stacy A. (Gary)Knight, and Andrea N.(Jack) Elliott; grandchildren Allyson, Luke, Ethan, Eve, Alec and Blake; sisters Sandra Champ, Diana (Steve) McGill, Mary Ann (Kevin) Weaver and Becky Hinkle; brothers Roger Hinkle and Floyd Hinkle; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Johnny Hinkle.
Funeral service will be held be conducted at 2pm on Sunday February 26, 2012 at the Oakfield Wesleyan Church with Rev Dan Hinkle officiating.
Interment: Oakfield Cemetery, where military graveside services will be conducted.
